About Our WORKShop
The idea of Studio 32 was born in 1980 when Gaby moved into a small Chicago apartment. With a job making props for movies, she often found the need to rent a separate space to spread things out. But, she only needed it a few days here and there, and didn't like the idea of paying yearly for more room. And so, she thought up the day-to-day studio space.
37 years later, Gaby finally pursued her dream of making a neighborhood workshop for anyone who just needed a little more room for a little bit of time. And, with over 40 years of experience crafting, sewing and raising three kids, Gaby has learned a lot along the way. Living around the corner from Studio 32, Gaby is always nearby to teach classes or prep the space for you.
